Horticulture: Pallet Gardens

The Scone Palace Garden Fair (replacing Gardening Scotland) was first held in 2022. In 2023 and 2024 NBiB was awarded a Silver medal in the Pallet competition. Pictures of these pallets can be viewed by clicking here.

During the COVID lockdown in 2020 NBIB decided to continue creating pallet gardens and one is now a permanent fixture throughout the year outside the Abbey Church, it being changed regularly to reflect the time of year and/or an event: a selection of which are shown below.  There is now a pallet in front of St Andrew Blackadder Church
