Horticulture: The War Memorial Garden, Quality Street

A colourful corner that is designed, planted and cared for by the local East Lothian Council gardeners.  A winter and spring planting scheme of primulas, pansies and wallflowers is underplanted with brightly coloured tulips.  The summer planting of zonal pelargoniums, begonias and other bedding is punctuated with specimen plants such as standard fuchsias and marguerites.
