Have fun again this summer growing sunflowers and join in the challenge. We are looking for the tallest sunflower, the largest bloom, photos of sunflowers in your garden and sunflowers you created in some way, maybe from material, knitted or even baked.  So why not get planting and creating now.  See below for the competition categories and details on how to enter.

CHALLENGE CATEGORIES.

In each of the 4 categories there will be two classes, one for under 18s and one for over 18s.

Largest Sunflower Head: Take a photo of your sunflower head with a measure across it to show the diameter of the full bloom, from petal to petal. You can grow the seedling distributed by us or grow your own from seed.

“Sunflowers in my garden”: Take a photo of your sunflowers in your garden.

A Crafted Sunflower: Maybe you don’t have a garden, maybe you just love crafting, join us in the sunflower challenge by sending in a photo of a crafted sunflower you have created this summer. (Knitted, sewn, papercraft etc)
