North Berwick occupies a unique position on the southern coast of the Firth of Forth, below its iconic Law, flanked by two sandy bays and with four islands just offshore. Our attractive town offers year-round interest where people of all ages can enjoy its beaches, golf courses, gardens and beautiful natural environment.
North Berwick in Bloom began in the early 1990s inspired by the tradition of local traders decorating the town centre with hanging baskets in summer. Our volunteers became fully involved and we now enjoy working all year round on a wide range of projects to complement the excellent work done by East Lothian Council. We aim to improve the local environment by imaginative planting, maintaining high quality hard landscaping, raising awareness of environmental issues and encouraging community involvement.
We have won many national awards over the years and if you’d like to help in any way, please click on the Volunteer or Fundraising button below.
